After more than three decades of dedicated ownership, Curtis and Rosemarie Moggey proudly announce the transition of Panda Tire & Auto to the next generation of family leadership. Beginning in 2026, the business will be owned and operated by Lance, Lorrie, and Crystal Moggey, marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s long and trusted history.

The Firestone store has been a fixture in downtown Moose Jaw since 1955, serving generations of local drivers. In 1989, Curtis and Rosemarie took the reins, later incorporated as Panda Tire & Auto in 1992. Under their leadership, the business has grown into a respected and community-minded automotive service center known for its integrity, quality workmanship, and customer care.

Now, the torch is being passed to the second generation—Lance and Lorrie, twins, along with their younger sister Crystal. Each has played a vital role in the company for many years, learning the business from the ground up and helping it thrive through changing times in the automotive industry.

The Heart of the Role

As a Service Consultant / Customer Service Specialist, you make car care feel simple and supportive. You’re the welcoming face at the counter and the clear voice on the phone—listening, explaining options in plain language, and ensuring every visit ends with confidence.

You will:

  • Welcome & listen: Greet customers warmly, capture concerns and vehicle details.
  • Guide & coordinate: Turn needs into clear next steps, schedule work, collaborate with our technicians.
  • Explain & reassure: Present recommendations without jargon, set expectations, keep customers updated.
  • Follow through: Check in after service and document everything accurately in our system.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A genuine love of serving people—the #1 trait of great service consultants.
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience (automotive a plus, not required).
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through; calm and caring under pressure.
  • Comfort around vehicles—loving cars helps—and we’ll teach you the rest.
  • Proficient computer skills (typing, using multiple platforms, email); we’ll train you on our shop software.
  • Excellent phone skills (Every phone interaction should instill confidence that out client has called the right place)
  • Valid driver’s license.

 

Tools & Training (How We Set You Up to Win)

  • Structured onboarding with shadowing, checklists, and quick-reference guides.
  • Coaching from experienced pros who genuinely want you to succeed.
  • Clear processes for estimates, authorizations, follow-ups, and documentation so your day flows smoothly.

 

Your First 30 Days (Milestones That Matter)

  • Days 1–30: Foundations
    • Shadow a senior consultant and learn our tone, scripts, and service flow.
    • Master work order write-up: capturing concerns, VIN/plate details, mileage, and notes that help technicians succeed.
    • Learn parts lookups: basics in our management system, supplier websites/portals, and phone lookups; request ETAs and document options.
    • Practice clear phone etiquette, appointment booking, and follow-ups.
    • Build momentum toward higher responsibility and earnings—based on skill.

 

Schedule & Growth (This Is a Mastery Track, Not Management)

This is a full-time, permanent Monday–Friday role—no weekends. Growth here means becoming exceptionally good at customer conversations, accurate work order write-ups, smart parts coordination, and smooth work flow.

As your capability and results grow, so does your compensation and responsibility within the Service Consultant role. We focus on craft excellence and client trust, not titles.
